Past Community Projects
2013 Capital Campaign
In 2013 the Elizabethtown Rotary Club approved a donation to the Elizabehttown Area Education Foundation to support their capital campaign project for $75,000. This is an important sustainable project that our club believed would benefit our community and students of our community for decades to come.
2012 Local Irrigation Project
July 2012 - The Club was notified that our District Matching Grant was approved. This means that $1500 out of our budget and the $1500 out of the matching grant, totaling $3,000 went toward the GEARS/Boys Club irrigation project. After this project was completed more children had access to the athletic fields, without having to chase the ducks away from the instant ponds that develop on rainy days. This is Rotary in Action supporting our community.
Our past projects include refurbishing the Refurbishing the town billboards in a partnership with the Chamber of Commerce...
...maintaining the old Community Park Amphitheater that we originally constructed...
Raising funds for and erecting the Town Clock...
