Emily Phillips

Emily is the daughter of Scott and Brenda Phillips of Elizabethtown.

In her academic journey, Emily achieved membership in the distinguished T.H. Ebersole Chapter of the National Honor Society, embodying the fundamental

principles of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. She also earned several prestigious recognitions, including AP Scholar with Distinction for scoring three or higher on five or more AP exams and Commended Student in the National Merit Scholarship program. The Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency presented Emily with a Certificate of Merit for achieving one of the 5,000 highest SAT or ACT scores in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

At the underclass awards program, Emily's accomplishments were acknowledged by the high school faculty through academic excellence awards in areas such as Honors General Science, French II, Honors Competition Science, AP World History, AP Literature and Composition, and AP Biology. She also received the Bausch and Lomb Honorary Science Award for demonstrating superior intellectual promise in the field of science.

Assuming leadership roles in various school activities, Emily serves as secretary for the Key Club, co-president for the book club, section leader for the marching band, and student leader for the bible club. Her extracurricular involvement extends to the Mountain Biking Club and the Competition Science and Science Olympiad teams. As a member of the Competition Science Team, Emily achieved first place in the Microbiology category at the North Museum Science and Engineering Fair.

An accomplished musician, Emily plays the French Horn in school musical groups, including the concert band, marching band, orchestra, and pit orchestra. She has been recognized by both the Lancaster-Lebanon Music Educators Association and the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association in their all-star ensembles.

Actively contributing to the community, Emily is employed at Udder Bliss Creamery in Elizabethtown. Additionally, she is involved with Kenbrook Bible Camp as a Counselor in Training and maintenance volunteer. Emily is a dedicated member of the Elizabethtown Brethren in Christ Church, participating in the congregational worship team, youth worship team, intergenerational choir, and instrument ensembles. She has also served on mission trips to Niagara Falls, New York, New Kensington, PA, and Bogota, Colombia.

Looking forward, Emily envisions pursuing studies in Environmental Sciences with a minor in Sustainability at Messiah University.

 

Bradley Kreider

Bradley Kreider

Bradley is the son of David and Lois Kreider of Elizabethtown.
In the academic sphere, Bradley earned induction into the prestigious T.H. Ebersole Chapter of the National Honor Society, demonstrating his dedication to the fundamental values of scholarship, character, leadership, and service throughout his high school journey.

Beyond his academic accomplishments, Bradley actively participates in various school activities, including the concert and marching bands, the orchestra, and the cross country and track and field teams. Bradley received recognition from the Lancaster-Lebanon League as a Section II First Team All-Star and Academic All-Star in cross country. Moreover, the Elizabethtown Optimist Club honored Bradley as its Athlete of the Month.

Outside of the school environment, Bradley is employed by Weis Markets in Elizabethtown. He is also a member of Cross Roads Church in Mount Joy, where he serves as a camera operator and live stream director.

Looking to the future, Bradley aspires to pursue a degree in computer science at a post-secondary institution. He intends to compete on the cross country and track and field teams at the collegiate level.
