Olivia Nilsen

Olivia Nilsen

Olivia, daughter of Hyung Ku Nilsen and Amy Nilsen of Elizabethtown, has exemplified outstanding academic and leadership qualities throughout her high school career. She was inducted into the T.H. Ebersole Chapter of the National Honor Society, demonstrating her commitment to scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Olivia's academic excellence was also recognized with awards in AP Calculus.

Her involvement in school goes beyond academics. Olivia holds leadership roles in Key Club, Model United Nations, the book club, the tennis team, and the orchestra, among others. She is also an active member of the Human Rights Club and the PIT orchestra.

Beyond school, Olivia has earned the prestigious Girl Scout Gold Award and participates in numerous community volunteer activities. She is a member of the Elizabethtown Church of the Brethren and engages in youth programs at Cross Roads Brethren in Christ Church. Olivia works as a food and beverage supervisor at Hersheypark.

Olivia's next step is to attend Penn State University, where she will pursue a degree in biochemistry before attending dentistry school to become an orthodontist.

 

 

 

 

Derek Deardorff

Derek Deardorff

Derek, son of Shane and Mackenzie Deardorff of Elizabethtown, has also made significant contributions to his school and community. He is the captain of the 2024 state champion bowling team, a member of the baseball team, the Student Welfare Agency Team, and Student Council. His prowess in bowling has earned him the title of a two-time Lancaster-Lebanon League all-star.

In the community, Derek has shown his dedication and work ethic by serving at Masonic Village, working on the maintenance staff at Willowood Swim Club, and working part-time at Clearview Lanes.

After graduating, Derek plans to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Air Force.

 

 

 

Keegan Miller

Keegan Miller

Keegan is the daughter of Brian and Kim Miller of Elizabethtown.

Throughout her high school journey, Keegan earned a spot in the prestigious T.H. Ebersole Chapter of the National Honor Society, upholding its foundational values of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. Her academic prowess was further highlighted at the underclass awards program, where she received accolades for excellence in honors geometry, psychology, honors human anatomy and physiology, health, and probability and statistics. She also maintained honor roll status each semester.

Keegan's involvement extends beyond the classroom to include participation in Mini-THON, Bible Club, and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, alongside being an active athlete on the girls' soccer and lacrosse teams. She also contributes her time to assisting in the school's multiple disabilities class.

Her commitment to community service shines through her employment at Weis Markets in Elizabethtown and her volunteer efforts with the Iddy Biddy Soccer program, lacrosse clinics through GEARS, and at LCBC Church in Manheim, where she is involved in youth groups and the buddy ministry, supporting individuals with special needs.

With a clear vision for her future, Keegan is set to pursue a career as a physician's assistant, having been accepted into the Accelerated Physician Assistant Program at Lock Haven University.

 

Noah Locke

Noah Locke

Noah is the son of Arnold and Kathy Locke of Elizabethtown.

In his junior year, Noah was honored with induction into the T.H. Ebersole Chapter of the National Honor Society, a testament to his academic and leadership excellence. He plays a significant role in extracurricular activities, serving as co-president of both the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the Stock Market Club, in addition to being the captain of the varsity basketball team and a founding member of the high school's Student Lighthouse Team. Noah also contributes his talents to the soccer team and is actively involved in Mini-THON initiatives.

Noah's athletic prowess is well-recognized; he earned the distinction of being named a first team all-star by the Lancaster-Lebanon League for soccer and received an all-tournament honor in basketball. His leadership and skills extend into his involvement with FBLA, where he secured first place in the regional marketing division and in the financial systems and banking division at a competition, showcasing his business acumen.

Beyond his school engagements, Noah is employed as a food server at Masonic Villages, where he has also been celebrated with the Outstanding Volunteer Award for his commitment to service.

Looking to the future, Noah is poised to pursue higher education at Penn State University, where he aims to major in Business/Finance, continuing his journey of leadership and academic achievement.
