CLUB GOALS 2011-2012

 

 

GOAL 1. MEMBERSHIP

1.     Membership goal of 95 members by June 2012

        a.     Induct one new member per month

        b.     Continue with our current recruitment, orientation and retension program

        c.     Hold 2 club assemblies to educate and inspire new and current members to  

                become more involved

 

GOAL 2: MATCHING GRANT   

        a.     Partner with local organization in a hands on project to improve community

                involvement

        b.     Create publicity in local newspaper and on our website

        c.     Encourage club members to take ownership and get involved

 

GOAL 3: DEVELOP A FOUR-WAY TEST SPEECH CONTEST

        a.     Partner with Elizabethtown area School district to establish this contest at the

                High School level

        b.     Form a committee to oversee and run contest 

        c.     Establish monetary prizes in the budget for winners and submit winner to the

               district contest.

 

GOAL 4: CONTINUE OUR "END POLIO NOW" CAMPAIGN

        a.     Raise our final $2000 towardsour 3 year commitment 

        b.     Devise a small fundraiser to lessen the burden on our club members 

        c.     Continue to educate club members on the status of polio eradication  PAIN

 

GOAL 5: 100% CLUB SUPPORT OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION  

        a.     Add 5 new Benefactors and 1 new Bequest Society member

        b.     Be sure every member is personally asked to make some donation to the

                Foundation

        c.     Recognize sustaining members along with new Paul Harris fellows and update

                our club on our annual giving progress 
 

GOAL 6: INCREASE FAMILY INVOLVEMENT IN ROTARY

        a.     Plan and execute 4 family of Rotary events throughout the year

        b.     Hold quarterly "Happy Hours with the President" to encourage more fellowship

        c.     Plan quarterly "Family Rotary meetings" with family based programs

 

GOAL 7. CONTINUE TO CULTIVATE NEW LEADERS IN OUR CLUB

        a.     Send at least 3 members to part 1 of RLI

        b.     Send at least 3 members to part II, III or graduate levels of RLI

        c.     Encourage all members to attend monthly board meetings
