CLUB GOALS 2010-2011

 

GOAL 1. MEMBERSHIP

95 members by June 2011

 

Objectives

  a. One new member per month (net of 6 for the year.)
  b. Retain new members by engaging them in committee work and activites.
  c. Continue the Mentor program for new members

 

GOAL 2: MATCHING GRANT

 Participate in a low vision matching grant application with the Lancaster

and York Rotary Clubs

 

Objectives:

  a. Raise $5000 to contribute to the project.
  b. Increase awareness of Rotary's international presence and work.
  c. Encourage participation of the members in this mission project.

 

GOAL 3: END POLIO NO CAMPAIGN

 Continue our participation in the END POLIO NOW CAMPAIGN

 

 Objectives:

  a. Raise the $2000 minimum that our Club is responsible for.
  b. Continue to educate club members as to the status of polio
eradication.

  c. Encourage community involvement and contributions.

 

GOAL 4: DEVELOP A FOUR-WAY TEST SPEECH CONTEST

 

 Objectives:

  a. Get the word out about the Four-Way Speech Contest.
  b. Create publicity for the contest.
  c. Develop rewards for the Speech Contest Winners

 

GOAL 5: 100% CLUB SUPPORT OF THE ROTARY FOUNDATION

 

Objectives:

  a. Ask every Rotarian to make a donation to the Rotary Foundation.
  b. Develop an incentive program to increase the number of Sustaining 
Members  

      who support the Foundation.
  c. Continue to educate members on the importance of the Rotary
Foundation and

      its work.

 

GOAL 6: HOST AN EXCHANGE STUDENT

 

Objectives: 

  a. Locate and support the host families for the 10-11 academic year.
  b. Get the club members involved in making our exchange student part of

      the Rotary "family."
  c. Get the exchange student involved in the Interact Club.

 

GOAL 7. CONTINUE SUPPORT OF THE INTERACT CLUB

 

Objectives:

  a. Support the leadership of the club.
  b. Provide monetary and other support for the club.
  c. Encourage the Interact members to attend selected Rotary meetings to

                            give program updates and make the Interact Club more visible to our Rotarians.

 

GOAL 8: EARN A PRESIDENTIAL CITATION

 

Objectives: 

  a. Complete the tasks necessary to earn the citation.
  b. Engage the members in ownership of these goals.
